Insurance Loss and Damage Claims
Overview
When you book freight through Joovii Shipping, your shipments are covered only by the insurance and liability terms of the carrier selected for that booking. Our partnered carriers are Aramex and Couriers Please. Joovii acts as your reseller and claims manager but is not the insurer — carriers’ terms and limits apply.
What this means for you
- Carrier insurance applies: Any loss, damage or shortage is subject to the chosen carrier’s insurance policy, liability limits, exclusions and claims process.
- Joovii will manage claims on your behalf: Notify Joovii as soon as possible if you suspect loss or damage. We will lodge and manage the claim with the carrier and keep you informed.
- Payments depend on carriers’ decisions: Any compensation is subject to review and approval by the carrier. Joovii will pass on approved and paid claim amounts to you, according to the carrier’s settlement.
How to report loss or damage
- Inspect delivery immediately: Note visible damage or shortage on the delivery paperwork and keep damaged goods and packaging.
- Notify Joovii as soon as possible: Contact our support team at [insert support email/phone] within the shortest possible time. Early notification helps preserve evidence and speeds claim handling.
- Provide required information: Be ready to provide:
- Store Name & Order number
- Carrier tracking number (Aramex or Couriers Please)
- Sender and recipient details
- Description of loss/damage, estimated value, and photos of damaged goods and packaging
- Any delivery paperwork or signed receipts noting damage
- Joovii lodges the claim: We will submit the claim to the carrier, follow up on progress, and request any additional documentation the carrier requires.
- Resolution and payment: If the carrier approves and pays the claim, Joovii will pass approved funds to you. Timing and amounts are determined by the carrier’s assessment and policy terms.

- Time limits and documentation: Carriers may require claims or notifications within strict time frames and require specific evidence. Prompt reporting to Joovii helps meet these deadlines but does not change carrier requirements.

- Joovii’s role: Joovii facilitates bookings and manages claims with carriers; we do not underwrite insurance or guarantee claim outcomes.
