Quoting and Booking Orders exceeding weight limits

All carriers have weight limits (22kg Auspost, 25kg Couriers Please & Aramex) so for quoting orders which exceed these limits, Joovii's apps are able to use either Multi parcel consignments (2+ parcels under one consignment) where it is supported by the carrier, or if not will quote multiple consignments. The condition here is that the order is made up of several items which cause a total weight to exceed the limit, and not just a single item which exceeds the weight limit.

This means that the quote provided in checkout will be the total of all consignments required to ship the order.   The customer will not be aware of the breakup of the consignments.

In the order booking screen there will be visible multiple shipments where the weights have been assigned in a way that fills up the first parcel and then assigns the remainder to subsequent parcels.

This initial parcel plan can be edited under the Package Dimensions and Weight section to optimise or correct the final distribution of products being shipped.
