Product Dimensions Setup using Metafields
Joovii's Shipping apps use Shopify Metafields to receive product dimensions for quoting and booking parcel size calculation. It is recommended to set dimensions for all products in order to provide the most accurate quoting and booking of shipments. This helps to avoid being out of pocket when quoting in the checkout and to avoid penalties for under declared size.
To set up metafields for products go to settings in your left hand shopify menu.
Click on Metafields and metaobjects

Select products and click on add definition.

Create the first definition Width
Name: Width, Height, Length

Type: Search for dimension

Category assignment: Pick relevant categories for your products or leave blank for ALL Categories
Validation: leave blank.
Options: Leave as is or change if necessary.
Once saved it will show in the list of Metafield definitions.

Do this step 2 more times for Height & Length.
When viewing the list ensure these are pinned so they are easily accessed.
Once this is completed these options will now appear under any products in those categories.

NOTE: Variants
If you also use Variants you will need to repeat this metafield creation process by selecting Variant instead of Products.

Using Existing Metafields for Dimensions
If you have already created metafields for your dimensions with different namespace and metafield names you can easily update the settings for this in the app to pick up your existing metafields.
These are the steps to connect these:
In the Joovii App, go to Product Dimensions > Metafields
These settings tell the app which data to pull for product dimensions.
Namespace: Your Metafield Namespace
Name of Length Metafield
Name of Width Metafield
Name of Height Metafield
Save once updated.

Any product without metafields set for dimensions will instead use the default of 5 x 5 x 5 as length, width, height.
Ships Separately
Some stores have products that come in a specific box that should not be combined with other order items when being quoted or booked. For example a carton of wine would not normally be combined into a single order with an additional bottle, even though it would be under the carriers weight and size limit, generally a 2nd package would be used for the extra bottle.
This can be managed by a specific Metafield. To activate this metafield tick the following box that will open the additional options:

Then create the metafields just like the dimension metafields in both products and variants. The Type should be Other > True or False
